Default Miss-matched Injectors? A question...

What would happen if one tried to run a car with 24lb/hr injectprs using a 19 lb/hr maf? A lean condition perhaps? Is there an easy way to temp. run that maf with 24# injectors? Such as splicing in a resistor or something pof the sort? ... As you can probably tell i know very little of this subject.

actually you can run larger injectors on a smaller calibrated MAF, but the car has to be tuned properly to do so, you can do this with mike andersons piggy back system, im not sure if any chips will allow you to do it or not, i wouldnt recomend running mis matched setups tho, depending on mods it will run rich or lean, it probly wont idle because it will be trying to find an idle circuit but cant because it will recieve too much/too little fuel.

I dont know if it would destroy your ecm if only temp. But it would not run good. Just out of curiousity why would "one" consider doing something like this? The way it's worded i would think that "one" is wanting or has changed to 24# injectors which will not increase performance.

Oh a friend and I just finished a build and we wanted to fire it up, but the only thing we're missing is a new maf for the 24#ers. He curntly has a PMAS C/A19lb maf on there.

If ya'll just built it go ahead and order an a MAF for your injectors. No need in skimping on the ma. What did you guy's do to the engine?
