Restricting power?

Restricting power?
I recently got the tans in my 90' AOD 5.0 coupe rebuilt. The car was sitting for about a year. So far I've changed plugs, wires, fuel filter, fuel pump, oil filter, oil change, air filter, cap and rotor.
My car is completely stock no mods whatsoever. The car still feels a little sluggish not to bad but not how a stock 5.0 coupe should feel. Any suggestion on what else I should change that may be resticting power? thanks in advance.

RE: Restricting power?
Funny. LOL
But seriousley whenI purcahsed the car from the original owner a few years back it ran pretty damn hard for an AOD. I even gave My buddies also completely stock 93 5 spd coupe a real close run for his money. Now after sitting for a year it just feels like there's a little loss of power especialy at the take off.

i have had 6 mustangs.....my slowest stock 5-speed thumped all over my fasted aod car by about a second
but some things to look for are :
plugs...gap at .045" not .052" and use cheap coppers not platinums or anything stupid
tps voltage should be about .990v w/ KOEO
timing at 12* and using 87 octane if possible
ensure all plug wires are "snapped" on...you'd be surprised how much power you lose from a wire "cross firing" another or having to jump to fire a plug, also recheck firing order
honestly you'll never touch a stock 5-speed until you have a nice power adder or 4.10's and slicks w/ a 3000 stall
the gearing of your car w/ 4.10 equals that of a 5-speed w/ 3.08's
feel free to pm for details, too tired to type right now anymore.
door tag under "ax" shows current gears.....m=2.73, z=3.08, e=3.27
