Default edelbrock heads HELP

i need to know if these are machined for the loc wire gasket....if so can i use a regualr or do i need the loc wire...thanks

looks like just where the compression sealing ring made a imprintation..run yuor finger across it..it'll be an obvious groove cut out and if so you need the loc-wire gasket for it to seal properly

the ring around tghe comcustion chamber is a raised ridge..idk if that means anything

if its raised, that might be the loc wired ones, i havent had a set of those before, my reg. eddy's had a light impression from the gasket, but not raised above the head suface enough to form a "raised edge".

could the regular ford performance gaskets be used??? i just got the overhaul kit and hate to have to buy the loc wire ones [:@]

Does your heads or the block have the reciever grovers cut into the heads or block for the lock wire gaskets?
