Default MAF concern

Ok i have 19# injectors and want to install 24# due to engine mods. I knaw tha a 97 mark8 4.6dohc uses a maf for 24# injectors can i use this maf? or can someone suggest another maf that can be used other than a aftermarket?

94gt with 19lb injectors but i need to upgrade to 24# due to mods vortech running low boost and a cobra intake my question is will the mark maf electronics be cal for 24# injectors

I believe the pigtail is different but you might be able to splice the wires

I believe the calibration is in the ecm on the Mark VIII. The sample tube sizes are different in the C&L units to calibrate for injector size. I don't think the Mark VIII unit will help you.

anyone know of a OE mf that the cal is done in the maf im in kinda a pinch and just need something to put on till i can order a C&l on monday

5.0 cobras and expolers both use 24# injectors. one of there maf might work for you.

NO!!

The MAF calibration is dependant on the ecu.
Unless you use a Cobra ecu, you can't run a Cobra MAF.

If you are running boost, then go 30's... at least.

Don't waste your time dinking around with a Ford MAF meter. (unless you have a custome tune/programmable chip in your future?)
