Hello all, i have a 95 gt with the 5.0 motor and a automatic tranny , what would be the best tuneup kit to get to tune the car, and is there n e hp gain whe ni do this. The car is stock right now been in garage for the winter ready to start mods but i need to tune it first, im doin the exc. thinking bout o/r h pipe with flow master 40 series is this a good set up or would u go with something else t/y for ur time and replys . no...no real hp gain.........ford racing wires ..autolite plugs and a cap with brass terminals will sufice

 

auto tranny = big HP loss

for a number of reasons...gearing being #1 issue....the extra parts being #2

for a stockish aod 5.0....you should go 4.10 gears, 100 shot nitrous, and cheater slicks

you'll hit 13's that way.....low 13's too...not 12's like a 5-speed

but as u sit...go 12* timing, tps at .990v , dump the silencer, ensure the throttle blade is opening all the way, by the pedal , and thats about it.

 

your car has a aode tranz. put the 410 gears, cold air intake, heards, h pipe, flow masters, al6 msd, under pullys theres other stuff u can do to

 

t.y all for ur help, not going to be racing jus want a litle power so when i want to go i can mash the throttle but i do want to do all those mods this summer i live n ohio so its been stored for the winter so now its mod time
