I have a 94 GT and after many mods decided to upgrade to 24lb injectors with matching MAF, however, much to my suprise the 94 and 95 ECU's cannot be flashed. The tech's atFordmotorsports.com said the only thing I can do is swap my ECU for on from a Cobra. Since I cannot afford a brand new one, I'm looking for a used one ie...Ebay. Oddly enuff I cant find any from a 94-95 Cobra, I have however found several from 4.6 Cobras.

My question is this...Will an ECU from a 98 Cobra (or any 4.6)work with my 94 GT?

 

no a ecu from those models will not work.. I believe they are eec v and you need a eec iv
