If you want good performance parts they are going to cost alot of money. And as for your first mod I would not get a cam due to the fact that you would need to upgrade your intake and headers and maby even get some heads. All that is about $1400.00. Personally is it is BONE stock the first mod I would get would be a CAI, (cold air intake). Change the cap and rotor, Get some 8.0mm - 9.0mm wires. All that is just about $300.00. Those would be the first couple followed by a bigger MAF and a 70mm t/b. Also through some flowmasters on ASAP.

Okay, well do you guys just not like the sound of straight pipes? Or is it actually damaging my engine, I don't see how it would because the cats and the collectors are supplying enough back pressure. How much power, between the CAI the MAF and the throttle body, would I be adding? What size MAF would you suggest?

I'm really not tryin to be a dick or a neusance, I'm kinda new with this 5.0 and am looking for a direction to go. I really appreciate you guys answering all of my questions and helping me out, I know I wouldn't be able to find a group of people like you 5.0 guys anywhere else. Once again all of this is appreciated.

P.S.
What are the best websites for performance stuff, can't find that cap and rotor anywhere but i'll keep looking.

Well I can't say that I'm not a hick, but if I'm losing THAT much low end I guess I won't do it. I don't have them yet but I had an appointment set up for next saturday. I guess the exhaust can wait and I'll spend my money on the intake stuff that mustang4eva listed. Keep those suggestions comin!

No I meant a CAI, I'll start off with the cold air intake then I'll get plug wires, rotor and cap. Then I'll get the MAF and Throttle body. Is there anything wrong with that?? lol

yes.. just get pipes then worry about other ****. plug wires arent gain you HP. no real reason to get a new TB or MAF yet to you get a HCI. your stock air box is actually a decent piece
