A couple weeks ago I had a post about my ignition shutting off at random times. After rewiring parts of the ignition, and replacing the coil, the problem still persists. I went to the painless wiring website and printed out an engine wiring diagram. I took it to my electronics teacher at school and he told me I may have to adjust my ignition switch. Are the mustang ignition switches adjustable? How do I adjust it properly?

the igntion switches were recalled on the mustangs i'm not sure if it applied to your year but you may just need areplacement, take it to a ford dealer if it is a recall they will fix it for free

The smae thing was happening with my car. I replaced the ignition switch and it fixed everything.

it either the ignition switch or module but it sounds more like the switch.

does it cut off then come right back on?...has your blinkers quit working? does it cut off if you turn the steering wheel quicky..if yes to these it's a defective igintion switch
