Default Getting a code 66...

I'm getting a code 66, which relates to the MAF. My question is that if the MAF is bad, then wouldn't my car run like crap all the time??? My issue is that its running extremely rich at idle, and the idle is fluctuating from 400-1600rpm when I first turn it on. I've cleaned everything i've need to clean, and checked the tps, which is good. It only does this for like a minute, but it didn't used to do it.

anybody have any ideas???

You may want to do the following test steps and LUK.....

ok, so i need to stretch that one out to the battery. ok, now what if the voltage is too low like the code says??? does that mean the MAF is crap, and with that, should i just keep my mass air meter, and get a new sensor??? And if the voltage is good???

ok, well when i tested it today I got 0.5v, so i'm guessing this means my MAF sensor is bad??? If so, seeing that it is a C&L, can I just replace the sensor on top with another one since they're like $10 on ebay???
