Default emissions, inspection questions

1) are there actually people you can find where you can pay them off to pass your car( i bought a non cat long tube car and was wondering)?

mines illegall as hell but i got a sticker from a local ford dealership. there are ways of getting an inspection sticker- do u know anyone who has an inspection license or anyone who works at a dealership or garage- just ask around.

why don't you just register your car in another state or county that doesn't do emmissions testing. That's what I would do if I were you. Just as long as you "say" your mailing address is in the other state or county then you should be fine.

Iv never had a problem finding people to pass my car. I just ask them flat out if they will do it. If they get bent out of shape just go somewhere else. The best way to find someone is to ask another mustang owner. Its such a common problem for us most will be willing to help.

in Ct over here im pretty sure its all in comptuer now, u dont get stickers anymore. Cop just tells by the comps, pretty sure. thats in Ct though.

You might be in luck. I see you are from VA. I just happened to have lived in VA and have a friend who does emissions(or atleast he did last summer when I was out there). Im not sure where but I think it was in either manassas or dale city witch it pretty close to you. I will see what I can do. It might take a few days since I will have to talk to another guy to get his # or email but I will let you know.
