Default Trans problem

I got everythign ready be driven BUT i cant seem to get it to move at at. I have tried all the gears nothing is working what could it be I drove the car the trans and motor came out of it worked great and now i cant seem to get it to move. Help quick i am needing to move it soon

What tranny is it?. If it's an auto, double check the fluid. If you pulled it out of another car, did you drain the converter and tranny?, if so, My AOD took 13 quarts to fill with the new converter.

its a c4 and it had a shift kit put in. it ran after that but now it doesnt even sound like it wants to go into gear. how more quarts will it take for a c4 because a lot of it came the tail end when installing it. and how many for the toque converter because i pulled it out and it leaked a little bit

the dip stick will tell you when it's full...you do have one on it right??? and who installed shift kit???

Folk's not setting the converter all the way in is an easy mistake to make. Are you positive your linkage is hooked up right. Have someone get under car while you shift the gears to make sure.
