the summit valve covers i ordered wont clear my holley, even with a 3/8 spacer.
and my friend said he'd trade me covers plus give me 20bucks(5 bucks short of what i paid for em) off his 87 5.0
will these clear my comp rr's?

either clearance for the baffles or double gasket it to be safe

i already got the extra thick gaskets, i thought i might need them for the summit vc's i ordered.
so would i need to do anything to the baffling to make it fit with extra thick gaskets then?

no you shouldn't have to if you have the extra thick gaskets..as it was I only had to do light clearancing when I was using stock VC on my 92

hmmmm?? not sure I thought fox covers were a little taller?? anyway if you got a spacer that'll help out.. but then you'll have to lengthen the egr tube if using egr
