Default tire size

will putting taller tires on make the speedometer read slow or fast?

If you put on bigger tires, the speedometer will say that you are going SLOWER than you really are. The diameter is bigger so the circumference is too, so for each tire rev you are going farther in the same axle rev, so you are going faster than it shows.

Your right. My mistake, I was thinking that the tire will spin faster at the same engine speed. But I didnt take into consideration that it has the reverse afect on the speedo.

Say if i have taller tires and 3.73s is there some calculation to tell how fast im really going? and is there after maket speedos(kinda like a bolt on tac) that will solve that problem?
