Do you plan on getting a different set of headers? With P's stock location headers won't work unless modified... And as far as C/I goes it all depends on how much you have to spend... A custom cam is always real nice but if you want somewhat cheap a letter cam isn't too bad either. IMO GT40 lower and Cobra upper for the intake works really well for an everyday driver. And are you looking to make 300rwhp or chp? Rwhp is going to be tough with those heads...

300 mightnot be out of the questionif you getthose heads a real good porting job (ThumperPerf. can hook you up) andgood supporting mods...like he said ^^ custom cam is the way to go...imo holley makes a great intake, but a ported gt-40 and haul A$$ too man..oh and you're gonna need a real good tune...lol

camshaftinnovations.com...jay allen..........he'll hook ya up....and a custom cam will run around 300 to 330 plus you'll need to buy matching spring kit from hime...but the extra spent is well worth the gain...as it'll be designed for your combo specifically...I'll be installing a custom cam in a 68 cougar from Jay for a customer/friend in about 2 weeks...it should wake this car up along with the canfield heads we're putting on
