Default New fox project plans...

Well ill start by saying Im new here and I am planning a fox project probably a 93 because they are all over here. Any how I plan to stroke the 5.0 to 347Ci and put an edelbrock performer RPM top end kit on. According to my "cheap(free) desktop engine calculator I will have roughly 400+ fwhp. What I dont know is how to judge the compression ration and If I could later run nos....
Thanx in advance

oh now this post really is random??? your in left field and your answer relates ..ummmmm shall we say not at all to the ops question...so let me show you how it's done:

As for you fwhp you will have 0 you mean rwhp = 400...I think that'll be flywheel as for compression ratio...first we need to know whose kit you will be using and to stroke a 302 it'll require block clearencing, pistons, rods, and crank and bore the block... a custom cam and better head choice would help you out but we need to know the cc of cumbustion chamber also to figure compression ratio... but with roughly a 60cc head you'll have 10-10.5 to 1 on a 347 stroker

will this apply to a 302 as well?

no... for a 302 it'd be more so around / rough guess 9.5 to 1
