Default RE: sea foam?

I just put some seafoam through my truck a couple days ago. I did it via the brake booster and the oil filler, didn't have a 2nd can to put into the gas tank(s). Follow the directions and you'll be fine - my truck still runs at least as good as it did before, maybe slightly better. My engine may have been pretty clean to begin with so there wasn't a huge difference but it does feel like I got a couple hp back. I'll have to keep an eye on the gas mileage to see if that improves at all.

Keep in mind that if the car is in need of a tune up, then sea foam probably won'thelp much. I did a tune up a couple months ago and just did the sea foam as sort of a final step.

Recently got an 86 fuel injected Bronco and used seafoam before tune up, made a world of difference then did tune up because i didnt' want to burn up all that junk with fresh plugs.

Stuff works...

Why spend 7 bux on the seafoam when you can spend 2 on a can of carb cleaner, and shoot some of that into the intake manifold past the airfilter, just have a buddy sit in the car to keep the thing from boggin down completly. It works, just dont spray TONS AND TONS because the engine will bog down and turn off if you do.

Yeah, now that I think about it in most cases doing the sea foam first followed immediately by a tune up/oil change would probably yield the best results. My stuff was in pretty good shape when I did my tune up so I held off a bit. I probably didn't even need the sea foam but I felt I should do something special for my truck's 20th birthday .

Seafoam is included in a full tuneup, but should be done first, as it usually fouls or leads to fouled plugs. Def do it as the can says, and it cant mess anything up. But replace plugs after.
