1986 Interior question

I have 86' convertible with 2 front buckets and i have a friend with a really rare front bench seat on a junked mustang if i cut out my center console i could put in that bench or is that totally unreasonable?

id say thats totally unreasonable, since u'd have to make room for the e-brake as well. besides, why do u want a bench seat in the front? id just stick with the buckets (i got a 83 convertible)
