i just installed the steeda fire wall adjuster and i got the upr triple pick-up quadrant....i cant get any free-play no matter what i doo please help!!! o and the cable is a ford racing stock cable ( non adjustable)

 

with a firewall ajuster i am surprised you were even able to get enough slack to install the cable. i needed an ajustable cable when i did my ajuster install. got ride of the firewall ajuster tho cause it would file down the cable and brake it frequetly

 

the cables filed down already....i cant re-use it can i....

 

I also have a question about this..i bought a steeda double hook quadrent because my plastic one broke on me and i believe it has the stock cable still. i shouldnt have any problems getting it to fit should i?

 

i keep snapping adjustable cables...so i wanted to run a stock with an adjuster....but idk what the hells going on...the pedal will have no play and i cant adjsut it any looser..

 

well i was reading about the quadrents when i bought mine and the double is designed to work with either adjustable or non-adjustable cables...do you have it set to the right hook?

 

im not using a double hook im using a triple hood upr....i tried every frigin hook and i get either no play or i dont get the cable tight enough
