Default Wheel/Tire Problem

I have a 1994 GT. I have new 17x9 black cobra wheels up front with the recomended 255/40's on them. After I put them on the front wheels rub real bad when I go to turn to almost full lock. Driving is fine but I cant even turn enough to make it into a parking spot. Now I just put Ford C springs on and strange adjustable shocks and had an alignment done and they still rub. When I had the wheel off it looks like its rubbing on the sway bar.. Help???

On the way bar huh? hmm.. I was going to say the '03 Cobra front control arms are designed to allow a wider wheel upfront without rubbing, but I don't think that'll help if it's hitting the sway bar.
