Hey I hope this isnt too dumb but I just wanted to know why people call some cams bumpsticks ? I never really heard of it but a few times.

The motor specs are as follows: 1967 289 bored .040 over, 9:1 compression, Forged TRW pistons, Windsor Jr. Dart Heads(1.94 , 1.60 valves), <U>a Mild Erson TQ30 Bumpstick with 290 advertised Dur. and 226@.050. .493 lift.</U></P>

every thing you stated has lil to do on how the cam would run...the center line of cam and if it's ground advanced or not plus at what degree cams opens and close has alot to do with how the engine will rev ..it's sorta complacated

That's it vfast, it has just about everything to do with what the engine will rev to and develop power to those rpm's it was designed to produce. Man, I haven't heard much about sig erson cams in years. They still make them?
