Quick ?
[sm=wtf.gif]When i try to put my 94 gt in time it will run and idle fine without the SPOUT PLUG, but when i hook it back up (the SPOUT PLUG) car will surge at idle and spike at wide open throttle.
I havethe balancer mark at 10* BTDC and i have my timing light set at 10* advance, with SPOUT out and willidle about 800 rpms, and run good, but when i put the SPOUT PLUG back in it want to surge and die, and will spike when driving at wide open throttle, So what is the problem/or what am i doingwrong?

RE: Quick ?
well if you are setting your timing to 10* by the mark, and the light is advanced another 10* then your at 20* initial and probbaly need to run 120 octane for it
but maybe i'm reading you wrong..... other than timing, if you have idle issues they are probably vac related

RE: Quick ?
Well, I think thatI have found out the problem myself.I have notice thatthere is a-little ticking noise when it is at idle, and when it is wide out throttle, so I'm thinking that it might be a rocker arm that is loose, and that would cause itnot to idle right ether. So if anyone thinks thatI am right please tell me, or if I'm not rightalso say something that could help me out.I don't really have alot of time to waste so if anyone could please reply as soon as you could.
Thanks. [sm=proof.gif]
