My ford manual says to just remove four screws and pull it out. Ive never done one on a fox though so Im going by just what the manual says.

usually the squerial cage is attached to the blower motor. Ill go look at my car and see what will be nesscessary.

Just looked at my car and then my manual again. The blower motor is on the back side of the heaterbox closest to the firewall. The heater box apperas to be in two parts. There is a big part and a smaller part on the right side where teh blower motor is housed. It looks like (from my manual) that just that peice can be removed and the motor replaced.
