RE: how do you adjust the fuel regulator
Do you know the model type of the FPR, most I have seen use a adjustment screw on top secured or locked by a jam nut on bottom, loosen the jam nut and adjust the screw clockwise or counter to raise or lower pressure.
Edit: tell us more about your car, from your screen name I assume its a 89GT? Any other mods or changes prior to the poor mileage. The gas has to be going somewhere, what does your exhaust smell like?

its a lx with a 5.0 . i bought it borded out to 306 with crane cam rocker arms. not sure on the crank or cam but it doesnt idle to hard like a cam. headers, pullies,373, 8mm wire with the 2 prong spark plugs, and intake. the exhaust smells like gas but doesnt smoke much. i am only 18 and the gas is killing me

My friend, gas is killing us all..... I am almost considering driving my girlfriends ninja 250. For your problem it sounds like it could be a number of things but start at the cheapest and easiest. Clean Maf & IAC, listenfor vacuum leaks, check that the O2's are reading correctly/// I am sure there are more but I tired and going to bed.
