first off: he said he had plans for the suspension and drivetrain mods. and safety mods arent that expensive.
secondly: its a diy setup to keep the price low
lastley: i dont appreciate being called a "ignorant ricer" especially when im trying to help someone out while, you come on here and insult everyone because not everyone is as "smart" as you.

that is alot for just the motor on you budget i think if you put a 351 stroker together youself and your own heads a custom grind cam you will be able to make better power for less money.less than thatyou could put a turbo on a 351 and make that kind of power

Looks like a well built piece.
Change int. to Vic. Jr. swap 750 carb for 850 should helpbreathing on such a large motor..
You probably need a 2" primary into 3 1/2" collectors header.(See large motor above)
Strip as much weight out of car as possible.(I mean everything)
Add 250 shot of nitrous and hang on.
If the rest of the car can handle it, you just might make it.(9's that is)
Remember the faster you go, the harder it is $$$ to go quicker.
It's easier to shave a second off a 15 sec car, than it is to shave a second off a10 second car.

Be carefull with suspension choice...I had the Eibach drag launch kit and my car sat as high as my F250....if you care about "looks" at all on your street machine I'd pick something else.
