24 injector question
Hey guys, i just got some FRPP 24# injectors for 150 bucks off of craigslist, im gonna get them flow benched/cleaned, replace any weak links etc, and was wondering if i would be safe running them on a stock motor, with an Edelbrock Performer intake, 70mm maf/EGR, and a stock TB with a pickup tube calibrated to 24Lb/Hr injectors(or a bigger maf in needed). Im just wondering, so id be able to do my H/C/I in segments and make it a little easier on the wallet, and simultaneously fix some problems which i believe stem around the MAF, TPS, IAC, or EGR, and getting some more power out of my setup

RE: 24 injector question
i have a bbk cold air intake, stock mass air, 70mm throttle body, egr spacer, upper and lower typhoon intake, under drive pullies, stock headers catless mid pipe, flows backend, blah blah blah
cary dynoed couple days ago at 212hp and 261trq at the 4200rpms when my tranny (STUPID POS) shifted into 4th gear........... (would have been at around 220-230hp if the tranny would have held it in gear till 5500+rpm)
btw air/fuel was DEAD on perfect, and the hp lines on the dyno sheet where nice and smooth
19lb injectors are sapposed to support up to 280-300hp................................
so ask yourself......... do you think you need them? or do you WANT them?
i know i dont need them, even after heads i prob wont......... but after heads i prob will see what the dyno/air fuel says

RE: 24 injector question
put thouse away for later days, and start buying more bolt on's, have a 75mm MAF ready for the 24's get your throttlebody and egr spacer, get your intake ported, full exhaust, etc.
thats basically how im doing it.
getting the 75maf soon, then getting my upper and lower intake ported, then prob doing the aod to t5 swap, heads, spray, etc
