Ok thanks for all your help. I am going to pick -n- pull to see what I can find in the tauras. I am going to try to get more of the main harness for the fan also.

Get a Flex-a-lite FLX-33054 hvy duty fan controller.
Been running one on my Mrk VIII fan and it draws even more current then the Taurus fan.

Has built in relay, temp probe and control, soft 60% on to help with "first on amp spike"
and automatically stays on for 10secs after engine off to blow air over hot engine.

Cost $95 but works like a charm and handles the amp load of these high flow Ford fans.
Just use a 40amp circuit breaker from autozone with it.
