B&M shifter also have that feature. Fill hole through the shifter mechanism.

As nice as that sounds. You still need to open the factory fill plug to let you know when it's full.
only if you are stupid enough to forget that the tranny holds 2.7 quarts

I am stupid and I still recommend opening the fill plug. Pour in 2.7, 2.8 or 3 quarts and let it dribble out. This way you are garanteed it's to the proper level.

To trust my memory on the capacities of all my cars and cars I work on would be stupid.
