when i went to put on the FRPP a/c delete the power steering pump bracket(the aluminum one bolted directly to the pump)wouldnt line up with the holes, when i printed out the instructions i found out that the bracket was completely different from what Ford shows in the instructions

The factory size belt never fit and i always wondered why. Is it possible that the bracket is off a truck motor or maybe a 351?

 

I still have yet to figure out why people make posts like this... when all we can give you is speculation WITHOUT PICTURES!!

 

yeah man you definitely need some pics. It is pretty tough to put a PS bracket on wrong, so most likely it's from another vehicle. Does the new kit all bolt up without the stock bracket, or is there a reason it needs to be there?
