To be honest--- when my car got built we put a C&L on mine and it ran like shiznit as well w/ my 30lbhr injectors... and we couldn;t figure it out..... SOOOOOO... we just used a Pro-M--- more expensive and yeah, pretty flashy, but F'it..... it worked...

or he could look at the color of the mark on the end of the tube
Hey Adder,
The reason I accumulated the diameter info, was because the 'color coding' from C&L is unreliable at best.
Sometimes NEW meters aren't color coded. Some sample tubes have been found to be color coded WRONG.

Even if he did have the color code there, I still would have recommended he measure the tube to verify...

I'm running a F4S?-???? in my 88 with a A9L ecm in a Cobra 70MM housing that I got off of Ebay. No problems. I ran the E9Z in the 55mm stocker.

Use the F1ZF sensor in the C&L, but it sounds like you have the wrong sample tube.

YES!!!

Use the F1ZF...

If there is a problem in the setup/calibration, then it is in the sample tube...

It isn't that the F1ZF is better than the F2VF...

With C&L meters you need to use the same sensor that was originally used with your ecu. If you don't use the same sensor, then the C&L 'calibration' page is useless...

The A9L cars originally used the F1ZF sensor, so that is what you need to use...

Hope that makes sense,
