RE: Easy 300 HP?
I was thinkin bout the Typhoon intake, 3.55 gears, shift kit, shorty unequal headers and maybe an H-pipe. I'm getting tires this weekend and what size should I get that I could mount on the stock rims? I have to stay between $100-$125 per tire...

What is the easiest and least expensive way to obtain about 275-300 HP with a N/A engine?

Hey Demon,
I used to have a 93 Prelude that was pushing 210 ponies and it was a 5 speed and was so light that I could hang with Stock 5.0's easy. Ahhh but I do love the toque of a good old american V-8. The Honda was just what was available to me at the time. It was heavily modified but not riced out. It looked totally stock from the outside and I surprised the hell out of more than a few mustang owners. If they had even a few mods though I was toast. The only problem is that you spend so much money just to get to the HP level of a car that starts out stock with that much power. Anyway sorry for digressing. I have the Trick flow H/C/I kit on my 86. The kit is rated at 350 HP and like 370 torque, but I figure I'm at 400 at least with the other mods I have. I got if for just over 2K from Summit.

255 will fit. Heard 265s will fit on stock rim, but only in back.

Well, the 3.73s I'm also leaning towards but I don't know how much my gas mileage will be affected. What's a stock TA or Camaro SS pushin nowadays?

I was planning on the shift kit, and I'm going to stick with 3.73s. What exactly does a stall converter do, how much is the one that you reccomended and where can I get it? Which shift kit should I go for. I was looking on Summit and they have the B&M kit with the video and all for 110, then there was another on there for 31.00. Which one did you get ford guy?
