Rally racing is way cool, but I think he was wanting dirt road performance, and not many of us have that kind of experience. Just be easy on the gas and don't go too fast, thats all I can think of.

86HOGT- do you mean the offroad through the woods type of rally? That is the type of driving I was interested in. One place I go to involves a 90 mile run on paved road, then a 30 mile trip down washboard road. Posi is about all you need for this. I did a trip to Death Valley ( not in the 'stang) and all of the dirt road was passable in 2wd. It was just choppy and involved a "5-50" style of driving.</P>

That is if by "a bunch" you mean 1. According to the registration list there was one mustang running the event. He did fairly well, taking 6th overall in the Club Rally.
