RE: Suspension Question
i want it to be road racing because i live in the GA mountains and live in the curve roads but i also want the stop light pull outs like drag racing. so i guess both thats why i have them mixed. so is that a good combo i have about 400 HP that im trying to control thats why i trying to make sure i have a good suspension to handle it better then it does now.

RE: Suspension Question
i dont care about the weight i just care about the handling like road roading and spot light off the line. i want it to handle in the curves and pull out at a stop light and not spin if i get on the gas.
So will this combo do what i want and if not want else do i need? Also should i get coilovers or lowering springs?

RE: Suspension Question
lowering springs will help handling quite a bit but hurt your launches. thats what im trying to say, its hard to have the best of both worlds. you can be good at both but not really good at either drag or road race.
for starters get these.
strut tower brace
subframes
upper/lower control arms
stiffer springs
sticky tires

RE: Suspension Question
for road race, yes coilovers would be better. but they will hurt launches because the frontend sprung weight will want to lift up when your front end does, this makes poor weight transfer. like i said before you have to choose which you really want to be good at. i say get the road race package, youll still be able to launch good with sticky tires and aftermarket control arms.

RE: Suspension Question
i think a strut tower brace and subframes are the cheapest most effective road race mod you can have, dont forget aftermarket sway bars. get those 3 items first and youll probably be happy as far as handling goes.
