injector size

wondering what size injector i should go for my 408 stroker with victor jr heads and holley systemax intake N/A anyone have an idea? thanks in advance

(horsepower x BSFC)/(number of injectors * duty cycle)=lb/hr of each injector

For BSFC .50 is decent for n/a engines and .45 is for very well tuned n/a engines.

yeah i used that just seemed real low...but i guess 42 will be fine then...thanks

Not really. If you have a decent build that makes say 500-525hp at the flywheel, and assume a BSFC of around .47(decent n/a tune) running 8 injectors at an 80% duty cycle it comes out to around 38-40lbs. It's going to depend on your engine build and tune as to what size injector you need. Also keep in mind that if you plan to run a dry nitrous setup you're going to need more injector.
