i believe the rivets are already drilled out there were bolts in there already the guy tried to fix it himself before i bought it. Im keeping it red. I need to find someone to paint this car though cheap. Im ready to get the maaco cheap *** paint job. Being in college sucks so im on a budget im ready to drop about 1500 in with all body work and interior work that has to be done plus exhaust. My friend is selling me his mac cai and mac shorty headers and flowmasters for 175 which is a deal.

anyone know anybody in chicago area that knows how to paint cars?

carfax has 100,000 plus on the body the engine was swapped out with a 93 5.0 ho engine it has around 55,000 miles on it. Wheels are gonna go after the car is painted. 18" cobra r's are gonna go be there by july.

Black is overdone and overrated, and I can care less about the "bling bling" factor on the wheels, lol, but that's just my opinion.

FIXED THAT STUFF AND IT RUNS PERFECT NOW. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF RESOTORING IT. MY PAINT LOOKS JUST LIKE YOURS. I FOUND ALOT OF MY PARTS AT 5ORESTO.COM. THEY HAVE PRETTY MUCH THE LOWEST PRICES AND YOU CAN FIND ANYTHING. ALSO DONT FORGET YOUR LOCAL JUNK YARD FOR SOME THINGS. IM CHANGING MY RED INTERIOR TO GREY AND BLACK AND I FOUND A GREY CENTER CONSOLE IN PERFECT CONDITION ALONG WITH THE GREY GLOVE BOX ALL FOR ONLY $20. YOU SHOULD DEFFINATELY GET A BRAND NEW FULL FRONT LIGHT KIT. IT MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE IN THE LOOK OF YOUR CAR.

Hey Nice car man,
Im about to pick up a 90 LX from a friend for $1800. I do however want to touch on th tail lights. The slotted ones are ok but if your ever going to change them think about getitng 93 cobra lights thaey look awesome on a Gt man. Just keep everyone updated on the progress.

i agree you need badges i dont have any one my car bc i have a sleeper anyways and dont want stupid ricers trying to race all the time. They dont have a chance with what i have anyways.

I love the car and the color keep it red and it does have potenial they are great cars to work on and before you know it will at its potenial

I also bought my car recently, "again". I bought my car back. I owned it in 99 but, anyways spent 1500 for it and most of the upgrades listed were done the first time I had it. If your paint is covered good (no primer showing) you can save a lot of money and just scuff and clear the whole car. It will look pretty good and will save you some money till you can get a good paint job done. My car was so fadded it was pink and looked like chalk. Two fenders and one door was shiny, rest was pink. I cleared it myself but a professional could make it look better than I did. Also, High temp clear in the engine bay will make a scummy looking area look new again. Here are some pictures.
