I have a fuel pressure problem.My car wont hold residual fuel pressure.It will build up the right amount of pressure but I have to energize the pump about 4 times then it immediately drops back to 0 psi,it will start but I have to turn it over for a couple seconds and when its running it holds the right amount of pressure. I tested the regulator and it has no obvious problems,there is no sign of the fuel lines leaking anywhere and the fuel pump is good.I have also checked for leaking injectors and they are all fine.I also pinched both lines with no luck.Im just about ready to drive it off the highest bridge I can find.[:@] Im so frustrated I cant think of anything else.It has to be something.

you say the injectors are "good" and the pump is "good"

why do you think and say that ?

Because I checked the injectors and the fuel pump is brand new and knowing even new parts can be bad I tried another fuel pump to be safe. I figured out what I was doing wrong anyway.I went back out today with a better set of grips to pinch the return and what do you know the pressure held.Seems I just wasnt pinching tight enough the other day.
