Default carb. distributor

i have a distributor from a 85 to carburate my 89 and i was told that there was a link or website that would show how to wire this up cause im not sure how it only has 2 wires coming from it and i was told it wires up something like a chevy . I do no.

pics!!!are you using the duraspark dizzy?? it should have 3 wires and you'll need the box and a duraspark coil

huh??? wire what to existing harness?? not to the efi harness...all you need for duraspark is a switched 12v source and ground

these are the parts you need duraspark box, duraspark coil, and duraspark dizzy

see on my box there are two pigtail connectors.. the one with two = red to switched 12v...white to ground

other connector with 4 wires = green goes to neg side of coil....the other three wires get matched = purple, orange and black to corresponding colors on dizzy connector and POS side of coil gets wired to switche 12v or tapped off of red switched 12 on box connector

why use a stock duraspark unit when y ou can pick up a used msd 6al cheap or even better find a crane hi-6
