ok so you still dont understand what we are trying to tell you. 60 is the sidewall hight. its a percetage of the width of the tire. you take a 225 tire and the 60 is 15% of the width then you have a 245 tire and its a 60 sidewall its still 15% of the width so its got a taller sidewall so its a taller tire. thats why we are telling you if you want a wider tire you need a 55 or a 50 sidewall hight now what dont you understand about that? got it good no more ****ing fighting with us we know what we are talking about so listen you came here for our help we gave it to you and you spit it back at us so there take it or leave it your getting no more help

apparently NONE of you understand how tire sizes work

the "60" being reffered to here IS the percentage....

225 is the section width of the tire
60 is the PERCENTAGE OF THE WIDTH (60% of 225mm) Hack.. idk where the **** you came up with 15%!
and 15 is the rim size

so!...
((((225/100)60)*2)/25.4)+15 = the diameter of your tire (25.6" for those of you who don't understand basic arithmetic)

245/50/15 is NOT the right size. It will be a full 1" shorter than stock
