going to change coil and ignition MSD 6AL in two weeks.Plug wires are new ford racing 9mm. changed fuel pump and filter holley 155gph. have a pressure gauge under hood . holds at 39psi steady.going to try changing oxy sensors.

Changed the O2 sensors today and car still not running good? i have almost changed every part that i think it could be the only thing left would be my distibutor or the ignition, maybe even the computer? Anyone who may know what it is please reply. I am open to all Suggestions.

hi,
i have 1995 GT that likes to do the same thing,
including sever spark knock and check engine light,
had a local garage check it out with a high dollar
snap on computer, came up with EGR valve codes,
egr valve seems to have limited movement,
hope this helps you, i am going to try and clean mine
and see if i can get it to move properly again,

is the EGR valve located in the EGR plate? if so have recently replaced EGR plate and throttle body . if not, where is it located and what am i looking for.

its on the bacl on the EGR plate and it needs to be cleaned and did you reset your computer after installing the O2 sensors if not you need to reset it

i will try that over this weekend and i will post again to let you know how it goes...Also How should it be cleaned and what should it be cleaned with? And exactly how should i reset my computer>?

I ended up cleaning the electrodes in the mass
air flow sensor, all problems went away,
the electrodes were filthy black, looked like soot
was coating them, always stock air box and fram filter.
used Q tip soaked in carb cleaner, didnt spray directly
on sensor, good luck.
