Adding roller rockers will do absolutly nothing for you. You won't see/feel any change at all.

Going from a 1.6 to a 1.7 will make a noticable improvement. It adds 2-3* of camshaft duration, and more lift. I'v made that swap and the differance is noticable. The Cobra engine has 1.7 non-roller rockers from the factory. Pick up a set of those for an economical improvement.

It won't add any durration...none.The cam will still open and close the valves at the same time, they will just open/close faster and higher.

They will give you more lift, about .471" total lift from about .444".

They will net you about 10 rwh (that comes from https://mustangforums.com/m_4459375/tm.htm)

Quite true, but I don't know about the 10rwhp gain though.

Not exactly true. Effective duration and valve action is generally accepted to start at .050" of valve lift. A higher ratio rocker arm will obtain that amount of valve lift sooner, therefore providing more duration. It works.

The Cobra rockers are 1.7 roller rockers actually. Made by Crane

"Effective duration and valve action" are the key words in this scenario. Obviously whatever lobe profile is ground into the cam is pretty much cut & dry, but going from 1.6 to 1.7 rockers will accelerate the valves quicker and provide more lift. Not just max lift, so in practice its like having a slightly bigger cam. At .050" tappet lift you'll get the valve off the seat .080" with a 1.6 ratio rocker. I'm running 1.72 shaft style rockers so at .050" tappet lift the valve is already .086" off the seat. In that sense it does increase "effective" duration.
