RE: how to adjust throttle cable?
if i stab the gas pedal car sputters/hesitates/jerks back and forth
does this for a second, then it will begin to rev as it should.
tps voltage is .98
edit: it is more noticable while under load. it does it in neutral but not nearly as noticable.

Could have a flat spot in the tps or maybe the MAF sensor needs cleaning. It def not the cable. Could be the timing is retarded also. Might wanna check that as well.

update:
took the plugs out and they were covered in carbon. is this from running too rich?
also, my valve covers were loose and some of the plugs had oil on them, not sure if its related..
cleaned the plugs, cleaned the maf, cleaned the iac, cleaned the tb. sprayed for vaccum leaks.
car no long hesitates in neutral but still stumbles while in gear. pro you think the clutch cable may need adjustment? it shifts fine and smooth, no noises.. just hesitation.
