Default Hankook tires...

I got some Hankook K102, 225/50/16s, Z rated 2 days ago for $48.00 a peice with free balancing and alignment, my dad knows the man that owns the shop and he obviously cut us a BIG deal. They said that they came off of a brand new 'stang. Does anyone know if these are good tires or not, anyone else have Hankook tires?

Oh lol my bad, no I don't think they were cheap, I forgot to add that hey had 500 miles on them but tread is still 100%, you wouldn't be able to tell that they were barely used if you looked at them. They're performance tires, I'll get a picture of them.

Oh well I needed something to get me around, almost all of my tires were down to the cord, I'll see how bad they are after a few thousand miles.

The brand name is Hankook, I just purchased a set of thier Ventus R-S2 performance tires for my wife's Honda S2000 the tires for thier price are fantastic, very compairable to the stock Bridgestones for half the price also with better traction in the wet, Never heard of them myself, till a few S2000 owners started using them and all have nothing but high praise for them. I would not hesitate to put them on my Mustang GT.. Here is a link to the Discount Tire Direct page that carries them..http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/refineTiresViewAllBrand.do;jsessionid=Cx0C6l2l7Ny8 BJqZKbQzzDZpSD9XyvnhZ3vmDKfTFvqzcpnK8fS2!-63502040!433320745?typ=Passenger%2FPerformance&sor tOrder=Model&mf=Hankook

Edit: oh oops, what was I thinking, I knew there was something wrong with the size of the tire, but when it came time to typing it, I typed out the rim size, when that is correct, what I meant is, I hope you realize 225/50 is a little too short I think, it should be 225/55?

I don't really remember actually, all my tires are the wrong size...
