RE: Speed Correction for sn95
it's a 5 minute job, but you cannot correct it w/ just a driven gear.
your '94 t5 has a 8t drive, and the best you can do is be corrected for 3.55's ( even that is w/ a 23t non ford gear that will chew up cuz it's the wrong pitch)
what you need is a 6t (black) drive gear, and a 20t(red) driven gear, the drive gear is clipped on the output shaft, and the tailshaft needs to come off to replace it. and that is not so easy.

yes it is!
yes it is!
i hate that silver ball and pin that needs to get replaced through the shifter opening when you remove the tailshaft, and contrary to what others say... i think it's easier w/ the trans out. i just can't see it done w/ the trans in the car.

well, while it's not a 5 min job to change it out at that point..... pulling a t-5 isnt ALL that bad, i'd say drain it and put new fluid in it anyway, once you drain a t-5 they're light. while it may not be Fun or anything it's not too horrible. when i swapped in the tko on my fox, i ripped the t-5 appart to see the damage i'd done to my 3rd gear and it took about 15 mins to pull it appart to see what i'd done. that 3rd gear wasnt pretty......
