2.73 to 3.55 Worth it?
Might have found a local rear with 3.55 in it. Trying to figure how much of a jump this would be. Any good calculators out there?
I'm not trying to build big top end car. Just a fast around town car and nice highway/weekend car. I think I'd feel 4.11 more, but this one is complete and would be more bolt up and go for me. Opinions? Any other good mods under 100 bucks?

Of course you'd feel the difference. The 3.55's are 30% lower... They provide a good balance between acceleration and highway cruising. From 3.73 on up you are gearing more toward 1/4 mile.

3.55's are very good. I drive to LA to work all the time. At 70mph the RPM's are at 2250.
They are good in acceleration too. Get them, you will like them. 4.11 are very low. Only get those if all you do is dtrive around town.
