all you need is the fan and a switch and some wire, thats how mine is and no problem so far.
controllers are more $, can be nice sure, but i live where its hot and the fan is gonna stay on when im driving and if not, the switch turns it on and off.

uummm engine noise or more like fan noise while in first gear. when i shift into second the noise goes away and thats when my exhaust kicks in .

dosnt make sense

so basicaly ur car maybe idling a bit high?

where are the rpm's? at idle on first start-up?

They started putting in electric fans in 1994.. So your fan in your 92 is not factory.
