you need a fox rear sump pan, pick upand timing cover cause the dipstick will be in the timing cover on the 68 and you will need to modify pan on fox to accept a dipstick as on a fox block the provision is in the block..soon I will be swapping in a 302 to my bronco II 4x4 which is the same swap for a ranger basically...visit the rangerstation.com for complete details on swap and or james duff.com for swap info and questions.. they have a whole section devoted to this

^^^^^^you don't have to use the timing cover but you'll have to remove the tube and plug it off........and 85 mustang motor mounts/foxes oneswill work

SN-95 pan will work too, the dipstick is in the pan. What trans do you plan to use? Remember, the older engines use a 28oz balance, not 50oz like the fox cars.
