Starter problems
I got ya...... so back to the starter..... i replaced the stock one with a new Remaned one.. Im pretty sure that all SB fords use the same style starter, and fords dont typically use shims being how these have a bevel or resess????
no just show you know through time and posts that the tech info you relay to others can be trusted and is accurate....Just as pro50sc is so am I an actual tech in the field with countless hours of tech experience and advanced diagnostics classes ....but just as anyone I am constantly learning new things and enrolled in new classes yearly to further my abilities
What do you mean by "do you have to do something over the internet?"
DIAGNOSIS on noises is the hardest form of diagnostics over the internet
as for the starter grinding either starter or flexplate has an issue..on some stock c-4 torque convertors there were drain plugs in the convertor and if they didn't get lined up with the hole in the flexplate , when torque convertor bolts were tightened down it'd warp flexplate...seen that before but most aftermarket convertors don't have that
