your current input spline/clutch discshould be a 10 spline so you would have to upgrade your clutch disc to 26 spline

Ok, I found a tko that was used in a gm. It says 26 spline 1-1/8th input shaft. Is that the same as what I need?

What kind of power are you putting through that? Any problems with the tranny housing? How long have you had it?

I got the astroperformance A-5 gear kit and put it in my t-5 and it drives just like my stock t-5, only thing different is it doesnt break

the tranny housing is still fine, and I used the upgraded cluster support plate, and the upgraded 2310 output shaft, they rate it at 650hp and 500 ft/lbs.
I built it last year in the summer, and put mabye 1000 street kms on it and mabye 100 track passes so far. would be more but I had an overrev mishap that poked holes in a couple pistons.

Well I think it's getting to the point where i need to upgrade my tranny and I'm considering an A-5 or Gforce so it will work with all my stock stuff. I plan on adding a KB and maybe a larger displacement engine in the far future and just wondering if it's a smart move or not.
