I have a 91 GT and at 3000 ft elevation on a cruddy track, with 4.10's and a catback I ran a best of 14.8 @ 91...Stock Motor.. 5 spd tranny, and absolutely no weight reduction, still have spare tire/jack/back seats etc..

Got a chance to get aquainted with my 1986 mustang GT 5-speed last week at PRP. This is an original example of a 5-liter with 29k on it. This is a full weight(front sway bar intact, spare, jack,) car. Just like FOMOCO put it together WITH the exception of 1.air silencer deletion, 2.advanced timing to 14 initial, and 3.pulled the serpentine belt. 2.73's in the 8.8. Iced the intake and was able to hit 13.96,13.97, and 13.97. Best MPH of the day was 96.61.

I would sell you my 93 notch but u probably wouldnt want it. In this area you just have to find the right redneck. look around peachtree city and lawrencville bunch of people around there that dont know what they have on their hands.

No way in hell a "STOCK" 86 could break 13's
Not even going down a hill.

Also, if you noticed his MPH to his times it's obvious he had some amazing 60's
Hello Slicks?
Bah, even with tires im thikning no...

Realisiticly, you're going to be running high 14's and low 15's in a stock foxbody.

13s are possible but likely a 14.2 is the best a stock 5.0 will go

Well I'm looking at a nice modded Mustang 88 LX even though its not a GT its all black with a nice 3 inch Cowl hood on it....I'm going to look at it on Wed. Hopefully I'll be driving it home. The Speed-o and Tach dont work but hey thats why they call it a project car , lets just hope the reason they dont work is because someone pieced the car together wrong???? I'll ask for a Car-Fax.
