need input on an intake....
i have just joined the mustang family and am very happy! now its time for some bolt on's befor i go crazy and build a motor....1989 lx 5.0 5spd supposed to be bone stock but i think there is a mild cam lumping in there but anyway....i cant make up my mind on a cold air intake either an AEM brute force (i specifically like the "dry filter") or BBK clod air induction kit, and weither to upgrade the mass air sensor or not. just looking for some opinions from people who have or have had either one, and witch works better with the motor. the car is a semi-daily driver and weekend cruiser. any and all info is much appreciated! thanks

bbk. You could also just go to ebay and get a no name brand one for $40. That's what I did and it worked fine. Keep the stock MAF, but clean it out with electrical spray cleaner to get the gunk off it.

cool, don't waste too much time or money on induction until you get a new intake
your fuel and induction will support 300 true hp, and you will gain nothing by getting bigger anything

thanks for the input! looking into the future will either got with trickflow track heat upper and lower or the 5.0 cobra upper and lower intake with 70mm throttle body and maf. ill post some pics and such as the build goes on. right now have to figure out how to down size pics of car to make them fit. thanks again!

gained 4 tenths in the quarter from just the intake piping change.
