Ok. Simple, don't pull on the steering wheel. Email me back and let me know if it still happens. Its a car not a plane! Honestly man, I have no idea, the steering wheel only has cruise control and maybe an airbag, depending on which car you are talking about. The main electrical portion is a clockspring, its a wheel with wires coming out of both ends that supplies power to the electronics in the steering wheel. If there was a short in there it would pop a airbag light...shouldnt hurt the engine at all. So Im pretty sure its not tha wiring. The steering column runs all the way to the steering rack in front of the car. If when you pull on the steering wheel the whole thing moved all the way up front as well...that would still have nothing to do with your engine...so...no part of your steering wheel really does anything much other than steer...dunno. Good luck

Sounds like you have a loose wire on your ignition switch. Pop off the plastic pieces and start the car then move some wires till it cuts out. Does it start back up on its own or do you have to start it yourself????
